List of UK Pancreatic Cancer Centres
There is now strong evidence that outcomes in terms of reduced morbidity(complications) and mortality and improved survival result from surgery being perfomed in high volume, expert centres. Establishment of regional centres in England is due to be complete in 2007/8. Centres are already agreed in Scotland but in Wales and Ireland the services have not yet been formally reorganized.

Whilst relative clarity surrounds centres for cancer management, those centres providing specialist treatment for acute and chronic pancreatitis are less well defined. Most of the Centres also provide the regional specialist benign service and the above list may again be used for initial guidance.
